Caitlin Hughes

Based in London, Caitlin Hughes is an active member of Egon Zehnder’s Digital, Media and Technology, and Board practices. With a passion for innovation and positive change, she insightfully advises funds, enterprises, and scale ups on their senior talent needs and building balanced boards.

I’m energised by working with courageous leaders who bring ingenuity and passion to serving shareholders, communities, employees, and the planet.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Caitlin was the CEO of Magnum Photos, a PE-backed photo agency with a presence in London, Paris, and New York. She has first-hand experience of board work having served as an independent director of Juventus Football Club in Italy for six years. She began her career with five years at the Boston Consulting Group and held senior commercial roles at BBC Studios, including leading business development in international markets outside the US and Australia.

Caitlin earned an MA in experimental psychology from Oxford University and an MA in international relations and economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Outside work, she is a trustee and treasurer of the David Nott Foundation, a medical charity providing specialist training for surgeons in conflict and catastrophe zones around the world. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves any chance to get outdoors and close to nature.
