Before joining Egon Zehnder, Alarico was a Principal at Amazon Web Services, advising European businesses on how to transform their business models by leveraging the cloud. Prior to that he served as the CEO of MRX Technologies, a Perth, Australia-based company that develops systems for the railway industry, overseeing its turnaround, scaleup, international expansion, and subsequent integration into the Siemens Group. Earlier, Alarico worked as a project leader at Siemens Advanta Consulting, advising top management on strategy and turnarounds to drive growth. He began his career at Protiviti advising blue chip clients across Europe, Africa, and North America on corporate governance, internal audit, and risk management. Over the years, Alarico has also served on two boards of directors.
Alarico earned a B.B.A. cum laude in business and managerial economics from Carlo Cattaneo University, an MS (cum laude) in economics and social sciences from Bocconi University, and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) before graduating from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He actively mentors master graduates, MBA candidates, and entrepreneurs. Married with two children, Alarico enjoys running, biking and travelling.
