Based in London, Iva Piombini is the Co-Head of the firm’s Global Insurance Practice segment engaging with clients in both the UK and Internationally. She advises senior leaders on search, development, and talent management and has particular expertise in the CEO and CPO functions. Besides the work at the executive level, Iva also has significant experience working with boards across the broader financial services sector. In her role, Iva also actively works with Wealth Management companies. Iva is passionate about helping her clients in putting the people agenda at the forefront of their business agenda and extensive experience in working with both listed and private companies. Iva is also an active member of the DEI practice group with particular focus on helping drive gender diversity in FS.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Iva spent more than a decade at Goldman Sachs in London. While holding a series of sales and risk advisory roles in Goldman’s Securities and Investment Banking divisions, she worked closely with corporates, asset managers, and private equity clients on risk management, financing, and M&A.
Originally from Belgrade, Iva moved to the UK where she earned a First Class BSc degree in Engineering and Business from the University of Warwick. Iva speaks fluent English and French in addition to her native Serbian, and in her free time enjoys exercising, practicing yoga, traveling, and baking.
